FAQ
What is Pokeborne?
A 3D action roguelite fan game set in the Pokémon world. Play as Blaziken or Lucario, climb Dragonspiral Tower through waves of Pokémon up to Zekrom, then go down the Well of Truth to face Reshiram. Every run rebuilds the paths and the rewards.
When can I play?
The first playtest opens soon. Leave your email and we’ll write to you once, the day it opens.
What does it run on?
In the browser, on computer, tablet and phone. A controller is recommended (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch); keyboard and mouse work, and phones get touch controls. What you see on this page is the game’s own engine.
How does combat work?
Light and heavy chains, rolls that cancel into attacks, guard, and executions: stun an enemy, finish it, then chain up to three targets in slow motion. Blaziken burns, parries and charges his Blaze Kick; Lucario builds aura and counters from behind.
Can I play with friends?
Yes, online: one player opens a lobby, the others join with its code, up to four. Everyone plays their own Pokémon and keeps their own rewards.
Is it official?
No. Pokeborne is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
What do you do with my email?
One email when the playtest opens, nothing else. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time. Privacy
